We want you to get out there and enjoy the ride. That’s why Urban Iki front seats are simple to install on most commuting bikes, with all mounting materials included. All up, the process should take about 5 minutes.
Check out the video below and with a snap and a click, you’ll be ready to go!
Do you want to make sure the Urban Iki front seat will fit your bike? Read on for our simple checklist and answers to other common questions!
1. A diameter between 22 and 28 mm. This is a standard size for stems. Does the stem of your bike look like it is thicker? Then you may have to remove a spacer (black ring) first. The video above explains how to do this.
2. A minimum of 19 mm available in height. The compact adapter that comes standard with the front seat requires a minimum height of 19 mm to be mounted properly.
What if my bike stem doesn’t have a stack height of 19mm?
If there is less space available on your bike, please check whether it is possible to remove a spacer. If this doesn’t work, you will need to purchase the MTB / ATB adapter as an accessory to mount the front seat.
What if my bike has a rack above the front wheel?
The rack on the front of your bicycle might be in the way of the front seat’s footrests. Luckily, most transport racks are made so that they can easily be placed forward!
What if I have an electric bike?
That is not a problem at all. The Urban Iki front seat is also suitable for e-bikes.
